Environmental Stewardship

We Think Before We Print

Next time you don't pick up a Specialized Vehicles, Inc. brochure, know that our environmentally sensitive

non-printing process has drastically reduced the amount of natural resources used when compared with

traditional brochure production. In fact, since 2008, we have saved countless trees, gallons upon gallons of

water, and tons of BTUs (energy). Every brochure we do not print is produced using this "Clear Blue

Publishing Process" and exceeds Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)* standards. If we ever do print, we

intend to use even more environmentally responsible, vegetable-based inks. So whether you download a

PDF, or (if we ever really print one) get a brochure, know that we have consciously taken steps to minimize

our impact on the Earth.

Specialized Vehicles, Inc. isn't just about exclusionary environmentalism; the show must go on. SVI has

implemented necessary steps in order to continue everyday services on the grounds, including close

observation of testing procedures to keep VOC exposure to a minimum, and the introduction of non-

petroleum-based metalworking fluids to assure the safety of SVI's personnel and the environment they live

and work in.

Testing performed in the labs of Specialized Vehicles, Inc. is monitored exclusively by
Air Monitors

Incorporated: an active Environmental Response Data Collection company with the capability of VOC

detection and tracking.

Metals formed in the concept development laboratories at Specialized Vehicles, Inc. are machined
with

ultra-effective Performance Biolubes Metalworking Fluids. This new generation of vegetable seed-based

lubricants boasts higher lubricity, sheer stability and viscosity index, all while sporting much lower volatility

and disposal costs when compared to petroleum-based fluids.
